Renaissance wins Oman hospitals' maintenance deal

MUSCAT, April 29, 2018

Oman-based Renaissance Services said one of its subsidiaries has been awarded contracts worth RO48 million ($124.7 million) by the Ministry of Health (MoH) for maintenance services at its hospitals in the sultanate.

As per the deal, Tawoos Industrial Services Company (Tawoos) will provide catering, cleaning, laundry and pest control services to various hospitals and extended health centres.

Renaissance Operations Director Adil Bahwan said: "We are very proud to serve Ministry of Health, which provides one of the finest National Health Services in the world."

Tawoos, he stated, was already the major provider of services to the ministry, but this award marks another significant increase in Tawoos market share of the health sector.

"We recognize that a healthy diet, food safety and facility hygiene are an integral part of patient care, in support of the outstanding medical care provided by the ministry," observed Bahwan.

"Our job is to deliver first class services so that hospital and health centre staff can focus on their core task of caring for the patients," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
