American Hospital Dubai to showcase key solutions
DUBAI, January 23, 2016
The American Hospital Dubai will showcase its medical innovations and lead medical conferences at the upcoming Arab Health 2016 expo in Dubai, UAE.
One of the region’s biggest and the second largest healthcare congress and exhibition, Arab Health 2016, will be held from January 25 to 28 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The American Hospital Dubai said it will play a high profile role as platinum sponsor, exhibitor and congress supporter at the event with a range of conference speakers and moderators.
It will showcase its palliative care, Spect-CT imaging, its new advanced rehabilitation centre and first community clinic (Dubai Media City Clinic), as well as featuring its multidisciplinary capabilities in minimally invasive surgical procedures.
At Arab Health 2016, the hospital will present its comprehensive range of services and specialist centers, from The Neuroscience Center to the Sleep Lab, reflecting the transformation of the hospital into an expert provider of specialised and advanced forms of tertiary care, through teams of specialist consultants who are all US board certified or equivalent.
The healthcare unit is increasingly developing these specialist practices into regional centres, said a top official.
Senior physicians and management from the American Hospital Dubai will be involved in conferences at the Arab Health Congress – the world's largest CME accredited multi-track medical congress - as moderators and speakers at conference sessions.
Dr Omar K Hallak, the consultant interventional cardiologist, is activity director at the 8th Middle East Cardiovascular Disease and Intervention Conference, while Dr Aaron Han Chief, the acting chief medical officer will chair the 4th Middle East Big Data Conference at the upcoming event.
"In 2016, the American Hospital Dubai will focus on three major themes through the course of the year, each of which will help enhance our clinical services and patient care. The themes are - patient access to services, personalized medicine, and innovation," remarked its CEO Peter Makowski.
It will be another landmark year for the hospital, with the launch of exciting new initiatives and innovative services that will continue the hospital’s pioneering tradition. All of these are based firmly on our JCI and CAP accreditations, which were reaffirmed in 2015, maintaining our perfect record in these leading international accreditation programs, he stated.
"One of our major developments in 2015 was the launch of our first primary care clinic in the community and we are delighted with the response over the first 12 months of operation. In fact, we are now extending services to include Gynaecology and Dermatology," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
