Dubai centre gets robotic hair transplant system

DUBAI, UAE, December 22, 2015

Dubai-based Cocoona Aesthetic Centre has been equipped with the GCC’s first robotic hair transplant system, in a unique expansion of the UAE’s medical tourism drive.

Named Artas, the system was installed by Imdad, a leading aesthetic technology and business solutions provider.

According to a company statement, Artas is the first and only robotic hair transplant system in the world.

Commenting on the system, Imdad CEO Tamer Wali said: “This technology offers permanent natural-looking results, employing advanced algorithms to harvest the healthiest grafts, targeting each follicle at an optimum angle to avoid transections and ensure regrowth.”

“With Artas, patients can design, review and adjust the final results in advance, enabling them to approve the best desired results beforehand,” he added.

Dr Sanjay Parashar, consultant plastic surgeon and director of Cocoona Aesthetic Centre, said: “The system’s accuracy and results are simply incredible. It eliminates human error and executes the procedure with robotic precision.” -TradeArabia News Service
