Burjeel to open tertiary care hospital in Al Ain

Burjeel Hospital plans to open a new tertiary care hospital in Al Ain, UAE which will be operational 12 months from now.
The announcement was made by Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, founder and managing director of VPS Healthcare, Dr Ali Obaid Al Ali, CEO - Abu Dhabi Hospitals of VPS Healthcare and Clancey Po, CEO of Burjeel Hospital during a conference at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers today (November 23).
Located in Khalifa Street, Burjeel Hospital in Al Ain is a new tertiary healthcare facility set to provide world-class, specialized medical treatment and services to communities in and around the city. The hospital is part of VPS Healthcare, an integrated healthcare provider with network of hospitals, chain of medical centres and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and pharmacies across the Mena region.
The premiere 7-star medical hub will have all core medical, paramedical and support services supplied by well-trained, accredited and skilled professionals. Part of the internationally recognized Burjeel Hospital, which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, with branches in Dubai, Muscat in Oman and Al Khor in Qatar, the facility will include clinical teams from prominent regional and international hospitals and universities.

Burjeel Hospital will feature well-appointed suites, premiere and deluxe in-patient rooms, which are modern and exceptionally spacious.
The hospital’s emergency unit, operating theaters, labour and delivery suites, ICU, NICU, cath lab, MRI, CT scan, laboratory, and pharmacy will be equipped to the highest clinical standards, a statement said.
The medical institution will house centres of excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Paediatrics, Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, and Reproductive Medicine.
