Sharp’s green products on show at Wetex

Sharp Middle East and Africa is showcasing its latest line-up of green technologies and products including business solutions and consumer electronics at the ongoing Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex) 2014 in Dubai.
 
The business solutions being showcased at the event include Sharp’s range of multi-function printers and display solutions.
 
Its portfolio of multi-function printers deliver the lowest Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) in its class and incorporates a variety of automatic and user-selectable functions to help reduce paper waste, conserve energy and save money, said a statement.
 
It includes technologies such as Eco Driver, Eco Scan, Auto Power Shut Off and Eco Recommendation.

The company is also showcasing its display panels including a Local Dimming Technology, which optimises the display to deliver remarkable energy efficiency.
 
Its smaller display monitors are based on its proprietary technology called ‘Igzo’ that is known to consume low levels of energy, said the statement.
 
Sharp’s eco-friendly consumer products including television, refrigerators, washing machines, air purifiers and microwave ovens are also on show at the exhibition, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
