Blood sugar device on show at Arab Health
Dubai, January 15, 2014
Philip Chapper and Company, a leading pharmaceutical and medical equipment supplier, is set to showcase its new non-invasive blood sugar monitoring device for people with diabetes at the upcoming Arab Health 2014 in Dubai.
Philip Chapper and Company will present GlucoGenius, the company’s non-invasive device for measuring blood sugar levels for people with diabetes, to potential customers from across the Middle East.
Six out of the world’s top ten countries for highest prevalence of diabetes are in the Middle East – with just over 10 per cent of all adult deaths in the region attributable to diabetes - and GlucoGenius has already attracted substantial attention in the build-up to Arab Health 2014, a statement said.
Senior executives from the company will also be discussing the company’s core product range of branded and generic pharmaceuticals, over the counter medicines, hospital supplies and equipment, which it has been supplying to clients across the world for nearly 40 years.
Philip Chapper, the company’s managing director, said: “Arab Health is the perfect location for us to meet with new and existing clients to discuss GlucoGenius – a device which could prove revolutionary for a region of the world that has such a significant proportion of its population suffering from diabetes.
“We have built an exceptional portfolio of customers across the globe over the last 38 years and the Middle East is a particularly strong market for us. We’re now looking forward to building on that success over the coming years.”
Arab Health is a four-day exhibition for the international healthcare market, attracting more than 80,000 visitors and 3,500 exhibitors from across the globe.
The exhibition takes place from January 27 to 30 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. – TradeArabia News Service
