Batelco, the leading telecom service provider in Bahrain, is continuing its support for the BDF Hospital with donations of over BD260,000 ($690,000) to assist in building a new extension to the Bahrain hospital.

Batelco Chairman Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa presented the donation cheque to Brig. Prof Khalid Al Khalifa at a recent event.

“This donation is part of our ongoing commitment to support health initiatives in the Kingdom and will undoubtedly deliver many benefits for the medical staff working there as well as the many patients who use the facility annually,” Shaikh Hamad said.

Brig. Prof Khalid Al Khalifa said: “We truly appreciate Batelco’s continued generosity towards the hospital.”

“This significant donation will enable us to extend the hospital’s infrastructure and support us in delivering enhanced care to all patients who use our excellent facility,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
