New doctors at Muscat Private Hospital

Muscat Private Hospital (MPH) has added well known emergency room consultants Dr Mohamad MM Al Obeid, Dr Gamal Mohamed El Sherbiny and Dr Wadieh Najjar, to its team.

Dr Mohamad Al Obeid has earlier worked at the Rahma and Saad Specialist Hospitals in Saudi Arabia. Alongside being an instructor in the Advance Trauma Life Support accredited by American College of Surgeon and Paediatric Advance Life Support by American Academy of Paediatrics, Dr Obeid is also a certified instructor in Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support by the American Heart Association and Saudi Heart Association. He is also a member of the Gulf and Oman Heart Association and is also a registered member of the European Society of Cardiology.

Dr Sherbiny is an active member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and before heading to the sultanate, has worked for more than 16 years in hospitals such as King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, and King Fahad Medical City in Saudi Arabia.

Dr Najjar, member of the American College of Surgery as an Advanced Trauma Life Support Provider and Instructor, graduated from American University of Beirut, and has long and extensive experience in Emergency Medicine of more than a decade, including his work in Lebanon at Khoury General Hospital and in Saudi Arabia in Saad Specialist Hospital.
