Labtec unveils modular furniture at Dubai show

Labtec, a leading regional player in the manufacturing and commissioning of laboratory furniture solutions, unveiled its modular furniture range at a premier exhibition for the region’s analytical industry in Dubai.
Arablab 2010 opened on January 9 at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, and will is ending today (January 12).
Designed as a modular system, Labtec’s Slim Line range of furniture solutions offers unmatched flexibility in terms of space utilization and price, a statement said.
In addition to the new furniture line, Labtec is showcasing at the exhibition products from leading global furniture solutions providers such as Klepp, LD Didactics, Orcelik, and H2O Concepts.
The products on display include laboratory furniture for schools, drug cabinets for hospitals, fume cupboards, and extraction systems.
“With the introduction of Slim Line, we reinforce our reputation for product innovation,” said Oguen Metin, general manager of Labtec, a subsidiary of M’Sharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments.
“Over the last two to three years, there has been a marked upturn in activities in the medical, educational and research sector in the Middle East, leading to a renewed demand for high-quality laboratory furniture solutions. Labtec is looking to tap into this demand by consistently introducing new product lines designed to meet varied requirements,” he added.
“We felt Arablab was the best venue to unveil our new product line, since it is reputed as the premier trade show for the region’s analytical industry and attracts exhibitors and visitors from all over the world,” Metin added.
