Kalium unveils new silicon lip implant

Dubai, June 29, 2008

PermaLip, a revolutionary, permanent yet removable lip implant has been unveiled at an exclusive event attended by experts in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Held at Capital Club, Dubai International Finance Centre, it was organised by Kalium Group of Companies, pioneers in the field of aesthetic and anti-ageing solutions and exclusive distributors of Permalip in the Middle East.

FDA and CE approved for lip enhancement, PermaLip is an implant that is made of a soft, solid silicone elastomer using a moulding process to produce enlarged and naturally contoured lips with a smooth, non-porous surface. Contoured to match the natural shape of lips and available in different sizes, PermaLip is almost safe, cost-effective and reversible.

This product was created by a team of world-class plastic surgeons in the labs of SurgiSil, a Dallas based medical device company specialising in the design and development of silicone-based products designed for plastic surgery applications, said co-founder of SurgiSil and the key speaker at the launch Dr Scott Harris.

“With PermaLip, I can give my patients seeking lip augmentation a result that may exceed expectations,” said Dr Harris. He was accompanied on stage by SurgiSil's director of sales Jim Schmutz. They took the audience on a personal presentation and demonstration on how Permalip works, explaining its efficacy, simplicity of procedure and effectiveness.

Commenting on this innovative aesthetic product, Kalium Group of Companies managing director Nazih Khattar said: “PermaLip is a significant addition to the Kalium portfolio of aesthetic products. It produces enlarged and naturally contoured lips. We always endeavour to provide consumer satisfaction by introducing safe, cost-effective and efficient aesthetic products in the region,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
