New personality, career test developed in Dubai 'a game changer'

DUBAI, October 16, 2018

Up to 85 per cent of workers worldwide admit to hating their jobs and only 13 per cent of employees are "engaged" in their jobs, or emotionally invested in their work. A high percentage of that is due to the fact that they are in the wrong jobs that do not match their personality traits.

Shereen Mitwalli, a certified life and communication coach/educator based in Dubai, has launched a unique new tool to combat these statistics. The Personality & Career Test is a game changer for anyone who wishes to know more about themselves on a personal and professional level. More importantly, it helps one make better career choices based on their personality traits. Designed for all, from fresh graduates, those looking to shift career paths or just those who are curious, this easy-to-use multiple choice test will only take a few minutes of your time, and promises to deliver insightful information that can really change the course of your professional journey.

A renowned presenter and one of the most reputed voices in the region having interviewed big names such as Richard Branson (Virgin Group), Jack Ma (Alibaba), Chris Gardner (the man behind Pursuit of Happiness played by Will Smith), Lewis Hamilton, Gigi Hadid amongst many others, Mitwalli has reached more than 100,000 people through her various motivational talks, coaching seminars and public events. Following through with her strive to help people make better life choices, this new test is designed to help steer one in the right career direction and towards their actual purpose in life.

When putting together this valuable tool, Mitwalli consulted a group of PhD professors to ensure the test is not only accurate but also backed up by years of psychological research. The Personality & Career Test is based on the Myers Briggs Personality philosophy.

The questionnaire is a quick assessment of your personality and features various questions that help indicate your personality type, with questions on how you would conduct yourself in different situations, perceptions and your comfort levels. The questions also delve into a person’s sense of sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking, which each have two polar orientations.

On completion of the test, you will be emailed a full assessment with a clear indication of your personality type, your traits, how you like to communicate, career areas to focus on, and areas to avoid.  The results even include celebrities/key figures who share your personality type.

“Finding a career path that makes us feel satisfied and successful isn't easy. It's not something they teach in school, making the journey much more challenging. Work defines us as people so when we’re not happy, it directly affects our mental state. Studies have shown that over 60 per cent of people go on with life hating their jobs and doing nothing about it. No matter what stage of your career you are in, I highly advise everyone to try our version of the Personality and Career test. It’s a simple test backed up by endless research and clinical observation which will evaluate your personality traits and give you calculated results on what you should be doing and what is best to avoid,”  explained Mitwalli.

Since the launch of the test just one week ago, already over 100 people have taken the test and most were amazed at the accuracy of the results. The Personality Test was developed to reveal personality traits that can be developed into professional strengths in a field of work that best compliments them. The test will be able to analyse your transferable skills, working style, personality type, and ideal employer. With this insight, one can make an informed decision on domains which they are bound to excel in.

Priced at $49, the test is suitable for everyone at any stage of life –anyone who requires direction in their life and career. - TradeArabia News Service
