ThinkSmart signs contract to train Bahrain women

ThinkSmart for Development and Training has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alreef Young Ladies Society to provide professional and basic training to young Bahraini women under the FORSATI program.

FORSATI will provide training for young Bahraini Women coming from Alreef Young Ladies Society in basic subjects like computer skills, logical thinking, coding& programming fundamentals. It will also provide professional certifications for ICT Bahraini women graduates and professionals in subjects such as cloud computing, web development, productivity and collaboration.

Ahmed Alhujairi, CEO of ThinkSmart said: “This program will empower the employability and productivity for Bahraini women. It is backed by the latest Microsoft Programs and Certifications, and aligned with industry requirements; this will enable Bahraini women to learn and apply new skills to compete in the global economy and will also produce a large number of Bahraini women coders who are ready for today’s competitive job market.”

Badreea Al Marzooq, chairwoman of Alreef Young Ladies Society said: “Providing this qualitative training to our members in cooperation with Think Smart through the FORSATI program comes within the framework of the Permanent society's keenness to promote its members and provide them with new skills, encourage them to keep abreast of technological development.”

Al Marzooq affirmed the efforts of the Alreef Young Ladies Society to be a vital centre for training and awareness in the northern governorate, thus providing opportunities for as many women and girls as possible to learn and to train in modern skills. – TradeArabia News Service
