Wesgreen school joins GEMS network
DUBAI, July 24, 2017
GEMS Education, a leading education provider, has added the Wesgreen International School to its network of schools in the UAE.
Through this partnership, GEMS Education will be able to offer its global expertise and know-how to students, staff and the parent community of this school, said a statement.
Students will also benefit from additional courses, as GEMS Education will aim to provide value to their overall experience with more extracurricular activities, access to GEMS-wide events, competitions and international university partnerships, it said.
The staff and teachers of Wesgreen will also be integrated into the wider GEMS network thus benefiting from globally recognised educators through shared best practices. The GEMS Parent Engagement strategy will further cement the partnership formed with parents, and families can also expect consistent communication from class teachers and the school administration, GEMS said.
Dino Varkey, chief executive officer, GEMS Education, said: “As a proud UAE company, we have dedicated considerable resources to ensuring the highest quality education for children across the nation, and beyond.
“With this addition to our network we are further reinforcing our commitment to the UAE 2021 Vision as well as strengthening our mission of providing quality education within the reach of every child. GEMS looks forward to continuing the tradition of excellence at Wesgreen International School,” added Varkey.
The Wesgreen International school has been advancing excellence in education for more than two decades and provides all students with a first-class education and the best teaching and learning environment in which each student achieves their optimum potential academically, physically, emotionally, socially, and with results of merit from Cambridge University.
Wesgreen International School was founded in 1991 in Sharjah under the leadership of Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Sultan Al Qassimi, chairman of Al Batha Group, and it has grown to become an institution of academic excellence in the emirate. -TradeArabia News Service
