KPMG Fakhro staff complete professional certifications

A new group of KPMG Fakhro staff completed postgraduate professional qualifications with support from the firm’s Jassim Fakhro People Development Fund.
The fund, created to honour Jassim Fakhro, the co-founder of KPMG in Bahrain, was developed to support the professional growth of talented young Bahrainis, said a statement.
It provides local staff with access to financial support along with time and mentoring from more experienced colleagues to help them pursue and complete professional qualification, it said.
Isa Mohamed and Ali Al Mualem from the firm’s audit department successfully completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualifications, respectively, adding to the list of Jassim Fakhro fund beneficiaries.
To date, approximately 110 Bahraini employees have benefited from the program since its’ inception in 2001.
