500 global exhibitors to showcase at GESS Dubai

A strong international contingent is set to take part in the ninth edition of the GESS Dubai, a leading education show and conference in the Middle East.
With more than 500 confirmed exhibitors, the show will feature six different country pavilions - Korea, Finland, Germany, China, UK and US.
Overall, the international exhibitors represent some 35 countries who will be taking part in the premier education exhibition and conference, which will run from March 1 to 3 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Among the highly reputed regional and international organisations lending their support to this year’s edition include the US Commercial Service, Kotri, and the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS).

Leading American education suppliers such as Scholastic, a leading publisher and distributor of children’s books in the world, will be showcasing the Scholastic Literacy Pro / Literacy Pro Library, a digital assessment and e-book programme that provides an accurate and easy way to measure, monitor, and motivate reading achievement and behaviour; as well as My Arabic Library, the only levelled Arabic reading program that includes high-quality trade books with teaching and implementation support for grades K – 6.
Audience Systems, a first-time exhibitor at GESS Dubai, is a British designer, manufacturer and installer of high quality seating for theatres and multipurpose spaces.
With seating already installed in many schools and universities in the Middle East, the company is looking for new representation in key markets across the region.
Germany-based Christiani, offers a wide range of teaching materials for technical-vocational education and training in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, automotive technology and renewable energy. The materials range from specialist books, interactive learning media and projects to complex teaching systems together with sophisticated didactic materials.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s Ministry of National Education will showcase its FATİH Project in Education to improve technology in schools and increase educational opportunities for students and teachers by furnishing classrooms with IT equipment.
The project also includes EBA, the c-component of the programme which is widely recognised as the world’s largest educational social platform, which includes Learning Management Systems (LMS); and modules such as news, e-nook, e-magazine, video, audio, visual and content producing.
China’s Shenzhen Fangcheng Teaching Equipment Co is looking to increase its business in the Middle East with its range of multimedia teaching equipment such as multimedia all-in-one PC, IR interactive whiteboard, optical interactive whiteboard, electromagnetic interactive whiteboard, LED interactive displays, digital visualiser, central controller system, all-in-one remote controller and other products widely used in teaching, training and business.
Little Thinking Minds, based in Jordan, will have as its centrepiece showcase the first-ever online reading platform to advance Arabic literacy in schools within the region - www.ireadarabic.com, a child-centred, levelled and differentiated Arabic literacy programme consisting of levelled e-books and associated mobile applications that can supplement traditional school-based learning at home or in the classroom. - TradeArabia News Service
