Bahrain hailed as global model for labour rights

MANAMA, January 6, 2016

Bahrain is a global role model for its practices in dealing with foreign workers, International Organisation for Migration (IOM) director-general William Lacy Swing has said. Swing has also praised the kingdom’s efforts in guaranteeing fair recruitment, protecting foreign workers and combating trafficking in persons, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
