Employment among Bahrainis increased by 2.5 per cent in the 12 months to June this year, according to new figures released by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).

Total employment growth hit 6.5 per cent, with 710,296 people registered as employed in the country – 551,859 expatriates and 158,437 Bahrainis, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
