Getex to take off in Bahrain

Manama, October 30, 2011

The Bahrain leg of Getex Autumn 2011, the Middle East and Asia's leading education, training and professional development event, will begin tomorrow (October 31) at the Gulf Hotel in Manama and run until November 1.

This follows the successful conclusion of the Dubai leg of the event on October 28. The 2011 edition has a stronger focus on higher education and vocational training, two fast-emerging growth segments in the region’s education sector, a statement from the organisers said.

Getex Autumn will offer a number of post-graduate courses that are now in great demand in the Arab World, including popular programmes in engineering, medicine, HR, marketing & communications, humanities, natural resources, business, finance, research, accounting, languages and management.

Occupational courses that have been in great demand at the event includes architecture and interior design, aviation, computing & IT, creative arts, fashion, graphic design, hotel & hospitality, nursing & occupational health, photography, teaching and technical programs, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
