Bahrain students write QAAeT exams

More than 10,000 intermediate school Grade 9 students on Thursday appeared for the Quality Assurance Authority for education and Training (QAAeT) national examinations in Manama.

They sat exams in the four core subjects – Arabic, mathematics, science, and english.

“With the conclusion of the first week of the National examinations, we can say that students’ attendance as well as schools administrations’ commitment to the QAAeT’s plan set for the management of the exams were met successfully,” said QAAeT chief executive Dr Jawaher Al Mudhahki.

“The objectives of the exams support the Vision 2030 goals, through comprehensive national initiative that aims at developing the Bahraini people’s skills to be active participants in building a better economic, social and intellectual future,” she noted.

The national examinations will be held this week with grade six exams on Sunday and grade three exams on Monday. Around 32,000 students are sitting the exams this year.-TradeArabia News Service
