SAE Institute, a premier learning institute for audiovisual technologies and multimedia, is offering budding Webpreneurs the chance to make it big in cyberspace through its new Webpreneur Boot Camp.
The first of its kind course in the UAE will be held on March 18 and 19 from 10am until 5pm, said a statement from SAE Institute.
The two-day course will help individuals create their own websites, learn about e-commerce and marketing, and use social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, it stated.
The course will be led by internet guru and successful Webpreneur, Amir Anzur, a graduate of Computer Science with Business Management from the University of Manchester, UK.
Anzur has worked as online consultant for global companies including Google, Intel, Samsung, Xbox, and Microsoft, as well as the Government of Dubai. He is the Dean of Webpreneur University, a non profit foundation which aims to strengthen awareness on web entrepreneurship and knowledge.
Predrag Toncev, Dubai campus manager, SAE Institute, said the course is ideal for individuals who want to leverage the power of the Internet but are not sure how to proceed.
“Individuals interested in social media and entrepreneurship can learn how to create a successful business model that works online,' Toncev observed.
Anzur, he said, had over a decade of experience in the online world and operates several successful online businesses, and will provide insightful lessons on web-based entrepreneurship.
