QFC unveils enhanced internship program

The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority is offering an enhanced summer internship program for the coming season.
The QFC Authority has arranged internships in the past three years, but this year has introduced changes to the scope of the programmme. In addition to undergraduate students from universities in Qatar, the QFC Authority is also offering the opportunity of work experience to the children of QFC Authority employees who are in secondary education above the age of 16.
The QFC Authority Summer Internship programme will commence in June and will continue till the end of July. The programme is open to all nationalities, and has scope for a total of eight candidates.
Successful undergraduate internship candidates will receive a stipend of QR200 per day, and secondary student interns who participate in the programme for a minimum of four weeks will receive QR100 per day.
“We will give the participants in the internship programme real tasks to do, and they will be required to give a short presentation at the end on what they have learnt,” said Aida Al Shahri, director of HR at the QFC Authority.
All successful candidates of the QFC Authority Summer Internship Programme will receive certificates of achievement.-TradeArabia News Service
