Diyar Al Muharraq kicks off infrastructure works on North Islands

Diyar Al Muharraq, a leading real estate developer in Bahrain, has announced the commencement of infrastructure works on North Islands as part of the city’s master plan. The work is scheduled to be completed in Q3 of 2025. 
 
The North Islands is the newest addition to Diyar Al Muharraq, offering a unique and ideal lifestyle for residents through a wide variety of residential plots available in different sizes and breathtaking waterfront properties.

Al Hassanain Company have been appointed as the main contractor on the project, alongside Aecom as the engineering and design consultant.
 
The leading Bahraini developer said works on the project will start with the construction of the main network which includes paving and road lighting, access to the western entrance of Al Naseem, expansion of the east causeway and backfilling of the Diyar Al Muharraq loop road, in addition to delivering a rainwater network, electricity, water and sewage networks, and telecommunications networks.
 
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Engineer Ahmed Ali Alammadi said: "We are pleased to announce the commencement of infrastructure works on the North Islands, with an expected completion date for this phase during Q3 next year."
 
"As with all our projects, we strive to meet continuous high-quality standards throughout the construction process as we work alongside our experienced partners," stated Ali Alammadi aafter signing the deal with Jaffar Ali Hussain, the Deputy Chairman of Al Hassanain Company.
 
"We are confident that the North Islands will deliver a comprehensive range of projects that provide our residents with the utmost comfort as part of an integrated community," he added.
 
Diyar Al Muharraq is the largest integrated city in the kingdom, offering a variety of housing solutions and a luxurious modern lifestyle, all while preserving the traditional family values of the Bahraini community.
