Work starts at $200m Bahrain waterfront development

MANAMA, 21 days ago

Infracorp, a leading specialised company in investing in the infrastructure and sustainability development sector, has announced that work has begun at Marina Bay, a luxurious residential project located at Reef Island in the heart of Bahrain's capital Manama.

Being developed by Infracorp at a total investment of $200 million, Marina Bay offers a host of amenities for residents and visitors alike, providing something for everyone.

It boasts an array of stunning villas, duplexes and penthouses within the development, with the first three rows of the project already under construction, said the developer in a statement.

The high-end project coincides with Infracorp’s vision to create sustainable communities across the countries it operates, it stated.

Thanks to its prime waterfront location, Marina Bay offers residents breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf and easy access to the yacht harbour and the capital’s vibrant attractions, it added.

For the ongoing project, Infracorp has partnered with CCT (Cyprus Cybarco Tabet) JV which has an elite group of international consultants - including Gulf House Engineering, HAJ and AAP Design Construction, a full-service design and construction firm that specializes in streamlined design and build projects based in Portugal and Kuwait - as members.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO Majed Al Khan said: "We are thrilled to announce the commencement of works in Marina Bay, a project that will redefine waterfront living in Bahrain. Marina Bay embodies our dedication to environmental responsibility and sustainability, aiming to establish a new benchmark for eco-friendly developments by seamlessly integrating the most advanced green technologies and sustainable practices into every aspect of design and construction."

"By reducing our carbon footprint and improving our operational efficiency, we aim to create a unique and exclusive living experience that not only benefits the residents of the project but also supports our long-term strategic goals of reducing carbon emissions, enhancing our environmental impact, and supporting the sustainable development goals, in line with the national efforts aiming to achieve net zero emissions by 2060," he noted.

Designed by the internationally acclaimed TAEP, Marina Bay adopts an open-plan philosophy that redefines the harmonious existence of people, nature and refined architecture on one breathtaking island, stated the developer.

The smart masterplan is carefully elevated around the vastness of the open sea, lending every villa unobstructed views of an empty horizon - be it the Signature Villa or the Serene Villa.

The Signature Villas are the perfect choice for those who want the ultimate in luxury and convenience, remarked Al Khan.

"These oceanfront four-bedroom villas offer spacious floor plans, luxurious finishes, ground-level pools and direct sea views. Signature Villas offer the perfect place to relax and unwind," he stated.

On the Serene Villas, he said these three-storey residences are the perfect choice for those who want a more secluded and private living experience.

These four-bedroom units with rooftop pools, elevated sea views, and spa-like bathrooms, offer the residents a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

"The Marina Bay project is a prime example of our company’s commitment to responsible development and creating impactful and sustainable masterplans that improve the quality of life," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
