ABU DHABI, December 3, 2022

Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) has started the disbursement of AED3 billion ($816 million) housing benefits to its citizens  upon the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of UAE's 51st National Day celebrations, reported Wam.

ADHA Chairman Falah Mohammad Al Ahbabi said the package completes a series of housing packages launched in 2022, and underscores the keenness of the UAE’s leadership to provide citizens with decent lives and social stability.

Director-General Dr Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli said the package includes housing loans, handover of residences and the exemption of retirees and deceased families from paying the dues of housing loans, stated the report.

The package completes a series of packages launched this year valued at AED7 billion, which has benefitted over 4,000 families, it added.
