Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) said it has completed the development of Saeed Mohammed Saeed Al Midfa Square, transforming it into an intersection with modern signal lights, at a total investment of Dh37 million ($10 million).

The intersection, which opened yesterday (January 8), will help in a big way in smoother flow of traffic, said the statement from SRTA.

It is part of tthe authority’s ongoing development projects that address traffic congestion, provide safe and smooth traffic movement, increase road capacity, as well as upgrade the city's infrastructure, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
