Makkah Construction & Development Company, a subsidiary of Saudi-based Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC), said one of its board members, Mohammed Al Issa, has stepped down.

The company's board of directors has accepted the resignation effective January 6, stated the company in its filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul.

Al Issa had been part of the company board since August 2017, it added.

Founded in 1989, the Makkah Construction & Development Company has over the years emerged as a key player in the development, purchase, management, and leasing of real estate properties in the kingdom.

It is also involved in engineering, construction, reconstruction, maintenance, and demolition works, it added. -TradeArabia News Service
