The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has inaugurated Tamleek Cube, a first-of-its-kind office that provides real estate registration trustee and real estate service trustee services in Dubai South.

The office’s location in Dubai South is significant for a wide range of projects that are being developed there by real estate developers in the city, thanks to the mega Expo 2020 event, and also because of its proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai Investment Park, and Jebel Ali Port, said the statement from DLD.

The centre is provided with free parking for customers and contains smart machines to offer business services in the office, supported by its staff and equipped to provide service to real estate investor and DLD’s customers, it stated.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sultan Butti bin Mejren, the director general of DLD; Khalifa Al Zaffin, the executive chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South; Majida Ali Rashid, the CEO of the Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector at DLD and Majid Al Marri, the CEO of the Real Estate Registration and Services Sector at DLD, said the statement.

The DLD had signed two MoUs with Tamleek Cube, in conjunction with the opening, to provide real estate registration trustee and real estate service trustee services, it added.

"This step is in line with DLD’s strategy to provide its services throughout the emirate for the convenience of its customers, ensuring their comfort and happiness," remarked Sultan bin Mejren.

"The office will provide convenient and quick services to real estate investors through its new strategic location in Dubai South and will offer more than 70 real estate registration trustee and real estate service trustee services. Investors and customers are not required to visit DLD to complete their services, saving their time and effort in completing all transactions," it added.

Al Zaffin said: "The inauguration of the Tamleek Cube office represents the growing confidence in Dubai South, which has succeeded over the past years in achieving qualitative accomplishments that support the path of growth and diversification of the national economy."
