SDF-funded Bahrain housing projects on track

Bahraini authorities said work on all the projects being financed by the Saudi Development Fund (SDF), including the Khalifa Town, Al Ramli amd Wadi Al Seel housing projects, was progressing at a steady pace and as per schedule, said a report.

The Ministry of Housing officials confirmed this during a meeting with the SDF authorities, who discussed the progress of work on the Saudi-funded housing projects, reported BNA.

"Work on Khalifa Town, Wadi Al Seel and Galali is progressing according to plans," remarked Housing Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Sami Abdulla Bouhazaa. "The ministry is keen on fast-tracking work on the housing projects to meet the needs of citizens," he added.

Bouhazaa lauded Saudi Arabia for its financial support to the ministry-led projects, including the Khalifa Town, Al Ramli amd Wadi Al Seel, which "reflects strong fraternal relations binding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia."

"All the SDF-funded projects feature in the Government Action Plan (GAP), which consists in the contrustion of 25,000 units, as part of the royal directives to build 40,000 units," he added.
