Sewa, Mashreq discuss evolution of e-payment systems

The Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa) said it has held discussions with Mashreq Bank on the development of electronic payment systems and the possibility of intensifying smart solutions in customer service centres across the emirate.
The new e-services offer the facility to complete transactions anywhere and anytime and to take advantage of other features to complete transactions in the fastest, most convenient and safe way.
Reviewing current projects and future plans, the two sides further discussed ways of strengthening cooperation with regards to infrastructure projects, service development, adopting best initiatives, and providing smart solutions.
"Achieving the highest and best international quality standards, Sewa is constantly keen to meet the needs and requirements of its customers," remarked its chairman Dr Rashid Al Leem.
Al Leem was speaking after his meeting with a delegation from Mashreq Bank, headed by Ahmed Abdelaal, the head of the Corporate and Investment Banking Group at Mashreq Bank.
The two sides reviewed various means to provide innovative solutions aimed at enhancing Sewa’s vision and strategy and providing best services.
During the meeting, Al Leem stated that the authority is keen to meet the needs of its customers by conducting satisfaction surveys.
He also underlined Sewa’s efforts and initiatives to transform all the services it offers into smart ones.
Abdelaal expressed his keenness to cooperate with Sewa in its future projects and provide them with the best services and smart solutions to meet their requirements during the coming period.-TradeArabia News Service
