Egypt to tender key rail project this week

Egypt is expected to tender its planned high-speed rail project on Tuesday, according to media reports.
The joint supreme committee of the Egyptian transport and housing ministries has met to review the tender document, said a report in Zawya, quoting Mubasher.
The new railway line will link Ain Sokhna, New Administrative Capital, 6th of October City, Borg Al Arab, and El Alamein city.
Transport Minister Hisham Arafat urged the consultant offices to prepare all the project’s documents for the prequalified alliances on Tuesday, the report added.
