Bahrain opens mosque in Sehla

Bahrain's Jaffariya Endowments Council has announced the launch of the Shaikh Hussain Mosque located in the kingdom's Sehla district, said a report.
Shaikh Mohsen Ibn Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, the council chairman, inaugurated the mosque, in the presence of officials, dignitaries and residents, reported the BNA.
The thermally-insulated building was constructed as per the highest contemporary and traditonal architectural designs, including the upper floor dedicated for women worshippers, stated the report, citing Al Asfoor.
The Jaffariya Endowments Directorate was officially established in 1927 in the era of HH Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (the then) Ruler of Bahrain, and has continued the construction and maintenance of mosques, community centres and cemeteries, he added.
