Designs Group unveils key Saudi projects at Index expo
DUBAI, April 1, 2018
Saudi-based Designs Group, a specialist in the hospitality sector, unveiled some of its major hotel projects coming up in Saudi Arabia at the ongoing Index Exhibition in Dubai.
Announcing this at the expo, CEO Mohammad Al Nadi said: “In line with the kingdom’s 2030 Vision to attract 30 million visitors annually, tourism has emerged as one of the most promising sectors of the Saudi economy. This is driving massive demand for hotels and has opened fabulous opportunities for us at a time when we are engaged in accelerating the company’s expansion."
"We began 2018 with three fantastic hotel projects (complete fitout) in Saudi Arabia boasting over 2,000 rooms. These vary from a superb 400-rooms smart hotel to a 1000-rooms 4 and 5-star property and a 600-rooms beach resort,” stated Al Nadi.
In addition to these projects, Designs Group has entered into an agreement with a specialised services company to jointly restructure and develop other companies within the group.
Al Nadi said: “As part of this endeavour we will be working on the reconstruction of Al Mubarak Group from Saudi by training, developing and qualifying its human resources. The primary objective behind this project is to position the group as a competitive brand in the local and regional hospitality industry.”
Furthermore, ProArt which is one of the subsidiaries of Designs Group has entered into a MoU for long-term cooperation with Saudi-based Elaf Hospitality Group to bring into the market this year, 1,500 hotel rooms in 4 and 5-star categories. There are other projects too in the design and budgeting phase, he stated.
Al Nadi pointed out that collaborating with Design Group's successful venture in the UK F&B hospitality market ‘Love 4 Food’, we are working on signing several contracts to promote its brand Gerasol Tasteofitaly in the GCC.
"In the launch phase we will be franchising the brand to open four branches within the kingdom. This will be the start of future expansion across the GCC and other parts of the Middle East," he added.
With over three decades of outstanding experience and 13 specialised companies, Designs Group (ProArt Intl, PerfectTech, B2B Hotel Furniture, and other subsidiaries) have served a prestigious list of more than 10,000 clients across the Middle East and Africa region since the 1990s working on some of the most complex and award-winning projects.-TradeArabia News Service
