Bahrain begins draw for allotting Northern Town housing units

MANAMA, March 15, 2018

Bahrain’s Housing Ministry has begun the electronic draw (e-draw) on the distribution of 2,800 housing units located in Northern Town and will continue until March 31, a media report said.

This follows the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to distribute 4,800 housing units to eligible recipients countrywide, added the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) report.

Prior to the e-draw, the beneficiaries are informed, through a video presentation, about the Northern Town, and their queries are answered, the Housing Ministry said.

The ministry stressed that Northern Town is among the largest strategic projects currently being carried out by the Housing Ministry within the 25,000-unit programme included in the Government Action Plan, and emanating from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to build 40,000 units.
