Galfar wins $41m Salalah LPG project deal
MUSCAT, March 6, 2018
Oman's Galfar Engineering and Construction has been awarded a subcontract worth $41 million for the Salalah LPG project by Petrofac E&C Oman.
The works cover the “CMEI Works Package One” for the project, the company said in a filing to Muscat Securities Market.
Petrofac is building the plant for Salalah LPG (SLPG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oman Oil Facilities Development Company (OOFDC).
The subcontract is expected to be completed in approximately 21 months starting from February 26.
This is an important contract to Galfar and further serves to underpin its revenue streams, the company said. - TradeArabia News Service
