Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) said it has received the upgraded ISO9001:2015 certification for quality management and ISO14001:2015 for environmental management system.

The international certifications, certified by Bureau Veritas, attest to the quality of services that Empower provides to customers as well as to its compliance with local and international environmental regulations and standards, said a statement from the company.

It also ensures the business risks for the district cooling company’s processes that are being evaluated and control measures that are being implemented, it stated.

The company has been certified for Quality, Healthy, Safety and Environmental Standards since 2006.

On the achievement, CEO Ahmad bin Shafar said: "Empower continuously demonstrates its capability to provide world-class services and meets environmental compliance, which is part of our commitment as a sustainable cooling provider."
