Renaissance sets up residential complex for workers

MUSCAT, November 15, 2017

Renaissance Services, a leading international facilities management and service solutions company, has announced the opening of its new turnkey project - Renaissance Village Duqm - a 16,960-bed facility that will accommodate the workforces of contracting firms in the Duqm Special Economic Zone in Oman.

The facility was inaugurated under the patronage of Sayyid Fatik bin Taimur Al Said as part of Oman’s 47th National Day celebrations. It was attended by Sayyid Tarik bin Shabib bin Taimur, one of the directors at the Renaissance Services.

Renaissance Village Duqm offers quality accommodation for all levels of employees - white and blue collar - in the special economic zone at Duqm (Sezad).

Built around the motto, “looking after your people”, Renaissance Village Duqm serves as an ideal solution for small and large work-teams, that require accommodation for short or long-term project durations.

Two types of accommodation are available for the workers. In the first case, the residents get to stay in a permanent build accommodation with multiple recreational and healthcare facilities, while in the second they have the option to move to low-cost accommodation or build their own portacabin camps which can be simantled at the end of the project period, said the company in a statement.

The facility leverages Renaissance Services’ strong background in looking after contractor workforces, delivering high standards at lower cost through economies-of-scale, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
