Falconcity of Wonders draws good response at India expo

DUBAI, November 5, 2017

UAE developer Falconcity of Wonders (FCW) said it has received an overwhelming response from Indian investors for its falcon-shaped multi-purpose mega project coming up in Dubai.

The company's stand is witnessing a solid visitor turnout at the Dubai Property Show (DPS) 2017 which concludes today at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, India.

The Emirati developer said it has been receiving a great deal of queries from India-based investors who are keen to join its various business projects.

Shaped like a falcon, the UAE’s national emblem, Falconcity of Wonders covers more than 41 million sq ft of residential, tourist, entertainment and recreational areas.

The development features modern versions of world-famous landmarks such as the Egyptian Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Salem Almoosa, the chairman and general manager, said: "We were aware that FCW had been gaining popularity among Indian investors, but were pleasantly surprised with the interest shown by the visitors and investors in our City of Wonders project."

"This strong footfall reflects the popularity of FCW among the Indian community, and emphasises Dubai’s status as the preferred destination for real estate investment," he added.

Meanwhile, Almoosa won the “Visionary award” from Dubai Land Department at the Mumbai event.

It was presented by Majida Ali Rashid, the assistant director-general of the Dubai Land Department (DLD) during the Real Estate Tycoon Awards held on the sidelines of the event, said the company in a statement.

Almoosa was recognised for his vision to further amplify the beauty of Dubai's skyline and for creating one of the best visionary real estate projects in the emirate, Falconcity of Wonders, thus playing a highly contributive role in the efforts to create and attract investment opportunities in the region while also adding to Dubai's aesthetic landscape, it stated.

"It is a privilege to be actively involved in one of Dubai’s landmark real estate developments and I am happy and honoured to accept this prestigious award from the DLD for our hard work," said the top official after receiving the award.

"This award will serve as a strong motivation to continue pursuing the highest levels of quality and excellence as we add more value to Dubai’s dynamic real estate landscape," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
