Arcadis names new city executive for Dubai
DUBAI, October 26, 2017
Arcadis, a leading global design and consultancy firm for natural and built assets, has appointed Mario Pishiri as its new city executive for Dubai, as part of its successful cities programme.
In this new role, Pishiri will focus on bringing the very best of Arcadis’ local and global expertise to help clients in Dubai meet a wide range of urban goals, that will enable the city to achieve the vision set out within the Dubai Plan 2021.
He has more than 35 years of engineering experience, including 20 years of living and working in Dubai, said a statement from Arcadis.
Pishiri brings with him an excellent blend of technical expertise and strategic insight to the City Executive position, it stated.
As part of his current and previous roles within Arcadis, Pishiri has been responsible for the growth and performance of the wider UAE business, and is very familiar with the urban agenda in Dubai.
This includes embracing innovation and technology, improving mobility, building greater resilience through smart utility networks, designing well-connected urban developments in new parts of the city, and regenerating older areas, it stated.
