Muharraq Grand Park work to begin in Q1 2018

Bahrain's Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning is likely start work on the Muharraq Grand Park in the first quarter of next year, a report said.
The development project has been included in the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the ministry was quoted as saying by a Bahrain News Agencty report.
In a statement the ministry said that the project will be carried out in two phases following the court ruling which ordered the previous investor to vacate the site, it said.
Bids will be invited for the construction of the fence, work for which will likely start during the last quarter of this year.
The ministry is now drawing up the engineering designs for the infrastructure work to start early next year, it said.
The Muharraq Grand Park will cover more than 9 hectares near the Bahrain International Airport.
