Manara's seafront project set for Q4 completion

MANAMA, May 27, 2017

Manara Developments, a leading real estate development company, said work is in full swing at its luxurious seafront Hasabi project in Bahrain and is scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of this year.

Announcing the progress, Dr Hasan Al Bastaki, the managing director of Manara Developments, said all civil and site works worth $21 million are progressing according to schedule. The construction of the main water canals – the project’s main landmark feature - is presently on and will soon be filled with seawater.

The first phase of the project is expected to be completed next month, he stated.

According to him, the mix-use Hasabi development was designed in line with the most advanced aesthetic and construction design standards.

The project features three- and four-bedroom residential villas, each with a private jetty, as well as commercial developments for sea view restaurants and coffee shops to serve the daily needs of residents, in addition to beach facilities and residential buildings three and four floors high, he stated.

A major highlight of the project is a 40,000-sq-m island dedicated mainly to the entertainment of the investors and residents with key beach facilities and other recreational services. It boasts sandy beaches, panoramic pools, a children’s playing area, health club, as well as floating villas offered on a daily and weekly rent basis to serve the guests and visitors of the owners and residents of the project.

Once the work gets completed, the project will be put up for sale, stated Dr Al Bastaki.

He pointed out that this project generated exceptional interest when it was launched at the Gulf Property Show last month which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.

Dr Al Bastaki further reiterated the company’s commitment to using the highest quality design and construction materials in addition to adopting environmentally-friendly practices.

This would be consistent with the specific segment that this project was targeted to, in addition to promoting both social and economic sustainability as a motto to urban development nation-wide.

Dr Al Bastaki also further stressed the company’s ambition to develop innovative housing solutions for young families seeking a luxurious living while having access to marine and commercial facilities that provide an integrated and suitable living environment that meets modern requirements of the residents thus playing a vital role in the residential projects sector in Bahrain.

Manara, he stated, has appointed a specialised team of both local and international consultants to evaluate the various aspects of the project and supervise the implementation with the highest degree of efficiency, accuracy, and commitment to the timeline.

Bahrain-based HAJ has been roped in to provide project supervision services, while Al Ansari Engineering Services has been appointed by P&T Architects & Engineers; a Hong Kong-based company, to develop the master plan and architectural designs of the buildings and units such as villas, apartments and other components of the project.

Aecom was commissioned to conduct hydrodynamic and traffic analysis for the project, while SSH international was picked up to design the infrastructure of the Hasabi Project, said the statement from Manara.

Al Hoty Analytical Services investigated and conducted geotechnical studies for the project, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
