The agreement comes as part of the government's ongoing efforts to promote the Dubai Lamp initiative of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, it stated.
Hussain Nasser Lootah, the director-general of Dubai Municipality, and Khalifa bin Dari, the executive director of DCAS signed the deal aimed at booting co-operation on energy conservation.
Under this agreement, Dubai Municipality will co-ordinate with DCAS in installing the lamps in its buildings and facilities, as well as help conduct studies to evaluate the savings achieved through the installation of Dubai Lamps in its projects, it added.
