LXA to design third Wagamama outlet in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, March 30, 2017

LXA, a leading hospitality interior design consultancy, has partnered with Pan-Asian inspired eatery Wagamama to expand its design portfolio into new areas of Saudi Arabia.

The company (formerly Luxe Interior) is a specialist in interior design, project management and development services with operations throughout the UK and the Middle East.

Following the success of the Jeddah store located on Al Hail Street, a second LXA Wagamama design collaboration now opens in Faisaliyah Mall, Riyadh, said a statement from the company.

Additionally, the team is delighted to announce the construction phase of a third venue, set for completion towards the end of 2017, in The Red Sea Mall Jeddah. This project is the result of a franchise partnership with Prestige Restaurant and Cafes Company.

Sarah-Jane Grant, a partner at LXA, said: "With over ten years of success in the GCC design world, LXA has been instrumental in marrying the Asian food operation’s DNA with Saudi cultural social trends, striking the perfect balance between minimal design and high expectations around comfort."

"The team and I are delighted to announce our ongoing relationship with Wagamama in a year that we mark our tenth year in the region," she stated.

Wagamama is a major British restaurant operator offering Far Eastern infused cooking in a casual but vibrant setting.

Established in London’s Bloomsbury, 1992, the eatery now spans 18 countries with 149 restaurants and continues to expand its footprint globally.

"This project aptly demonstrates our increased reach across the GCC, adapting a high-profile design-led concept around the tastes of the Saudi consumer. Wagamama caters to the mass affluent and we enjoyed creating a space that reflects Asian culinary philosophy with a richly energetic atmosphere," observed Jane Grant.

"To achieve this, we composed a clean but warm overall aesthetic defined by wood and crisp furnishings. This unique interior draws on beautiful lines, thoughtful use of layout and warm lighting to elevate the space. We feel the result does justice to the Wagamama dining ethos and look forward to the feedback from guests," she added.-TradeArabia News Service
