Olam to showcase key products at Dubai WoodShow

DUBAI, March 4, 2017

Olam International, a leading agri-business, is set to showcase its sustainable products at the 12th edition of Dubai WoodShow which kicks off on Tuesday (March 7) and runs for the next two days.

Olam International has extensive global experience in the agri-business. With over 60,000 employees, the company provides its services to over 16,000 clients in more than 70 countries.

Announcing its participation, Darshan Raiyani, the senior VP of Olam International, said: "It is an honour to be associated with the prestigious Dubai WoodShow. At the event, we will display a range of our sustainable, high quality, certified products that we manufacture in Africa, Asia and Latin America."

According to him, Dubai is the best market in the Mena region as it utilises a range of wood products across varied sectors.

"It is an evolving market and is open to explore new categories ofwood products. Though this is our first stint at the Dubai WoodShow, we are positive that the results will be remarkable. At the show, we look forward to meeting new potential clients and also reinforce our presence in the region," noted Raiyani.

"As an organisation, we may be new to the show, however our relationship with Dubai dates back several years," he stated.

The Dubai WoodShow is one of the biggest events of the industry and the first destination for all the international companies aiming to set up their presence in the Mena region, according to the organisers.

This year’s edition of the Dubai WoodShow is expected to generate huge success, with the industry experiencing a vibrant growth in past few months. The companies participating at the show will certainly have access to an increased market share, they stated.
