Emaar launches Phase Two of Sidra villas project

Dubai developer Emaar Properties has launched the second phase of Sidra at Dubai Hills Estate, a premium community of villas designed along a network of green corridors, located minutes away from Downtown Dubai.
A joint venture between Emaar and Meraas Holding, Dubai Hills Estate is a mixed-use development with a series of unique neighbourhoods set around an 18-hole championship golf course, said a statement from Emaar.
Set on prime land, spanning over 11 million sq m, Dubai Hills Estate masterplan features vast stretches of landscaped parks and gardens, winding walkways, and extensive open areas and more than 2,000 villas.
According to Emaar, the exquisite villas at Sidra have been designed exclusively for those with a taste for contemporary living. It has five types of villas ranging from 3,102 to 4,283 sq ft and offer three-, four- and five- bedroom units with a maid’s room, covered parking and generous gardens.
The collection of villas at Sidra are equipped with all the modern amenities including a swimming pool, retail centre, park, kids play area, kids pool, golf, tennis courts and cycle path. Each Sidra villa boasts gorgeous kitchen fittings, stunning bathroom fixtures and efficient lighting.
To woo investors, Emaar has announced a flexible 60/40 payment plan for the Sidra project under which investors need to pay 60 per cent in the construction phase and 40 per cent after handover.
Explaining the scheme, a company spokesman said: "Investors will be required to pay 30 per cent of the value by May 30 next year and then another 10 per cent on March 30, 2018 (when 40 per cent of the construction work gets completed) followed by 10 per cent on July 30 the same year (60 per cent construction completed) and the last 10 per cent on March 31, 2019 on the completion of the construction work."
Once the villa is handed over, the investors need to pay 10 per cent on September 30, 2019 followed by 10 per cent each on March 30, 2020; September 30, 2020 and the final payment on March 30, 2021, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
