MUSCAT, December 27, 2016

Oman-based real estate company Zawaya Development has launched a key residential and commercial complex under the brand of Al Noor Projects in the heart of Madinat Sultan Qaboos (MSQ), a suburb of capital Muscat, said a report.

The RO7-million ($18.1 million) complex, which is spread over a 9,000-sq-m area, boasts 87 units, including 66 residential units of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments besides 10 two-storey three-bedroom units and five office spaces and six commercial units, reported the Oman Observer.

The construction work on the project started some months ago, and delivery is expected to be within the first quarter of 2018, stated the report, citing a top official.

"The project brings together maximum luxury, creative design combining modernity to originality, latest technologies and equipment and world-class features to provide an exceptional experience of living," remarked CEO Sheikh Al Waleed bin Mohamed Al Kindi.

Since its inception in 2006, Zawaya has successfully delivered more than 70 projects, he stated.

On the new project, Al Kindi said: "It is an architectural masterpiece that offers all aspects of modern life and comfort. The complex is equipped with central air-conditioning, central gas distribution system, smart lighting for the corridors, private parking lots, lifts, a spa, a health club, kids zone, a multi-purpose hall and a shopping centre which hosts cafes and restaurants."

Zawaya is offering special schemes to the potential buyers, including easy instalments and interest-free payment, said the report. The developer has signed a number of agreements with two local banks in this connection, it added.
