Haulotte Group, a French aerial work platform manufacturer with key operations in the region, said its fleet of hitech equipment and machineries is playing a key role in the cleaning of the Masjid Al Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The cleaning equipment including Haulotte Electric Scissors and Masts have been supplied through Roots Group Arabia, the company's dealer in Saudi Arabia.

Masjid Al Haram, being the largest mosque in the world, receives thousands of pilgrims on a daily basis. Despite the rising number of pilgrims each year, the General Presidency of Affairs of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet Mosque provides the best services to visitors, said a statement from the company.

The cleaning doesn’t stop despite the huge crowds of visitors around the clock and during Ramadan and Hajj season. The workers efficiently perform their tasks without affecting the pilgrims.

Haulotte Star 10 is highly used in cleaning the entrances to the sacred mosque, bridges, minarets, facades and columns which are washed, cleaned, disinfected and pest-controlled using sprays, said the statement.

This machine has the capability to drive at full speed with jib fully elevated, which offers the best accessibility and optimal productivity, it stated.
