Zidane named brand ambassador for India project
MUMBAI, May 17, 2016
Real estate development company Kanakia Spaces said it has signed French football legend and Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane as the brand ambassador for its ‘Paris’ project in the Indian city of Mumbai.
Apart from being the face of the project, Zidane’s role will include consulting with Kanakia on its various aspects.
Kanakia Paris is located in the heart of the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai and is spread across two acres of land. There are seven towers at Kanakia Paris with 463 units in the two- and three-bedroom categories which are available from Rs37 million ($553,086) onwards.
Announcing the big tie-up, Kanakia Spaces director Ashish Kanakia said: "For the first time possibly in Asia or the world, a footballer, coach and celebrity is involved in conceptualising a real estate project with the developer, therefore this differentiates the association from others and positions what ZZ stands for more deeply in the customer’s mind."
Kanakia Paris is a unique project and aims to recreate a Parisian experience for customers. The project will bring to life the essence of the French capital, namely art, romance, architecture, monuments, fashion and food, fully immersing residents in the Parisian way of life.
Kanaika Spaces managing director Himanshu Kanakia said the real estate sector has grown tremendously and is witnessing a positive change in the coming years.
"We at Kanakia have always focused on developing the landscape of Mumbai. Kanakia Spaces is a pioneer in developing theme-based projects across the city and the acceptance amongst the customers is the best testimony for us. 'Kanakia Paris' is our tribute to man's quest for artistic impressions and we are confident of it being a man-made wonder in the city," he added.
On the new role, Zidane said: “This is my first involvement in India directly and I am delighted to be a part of this project."
"When Himanshu and Ashish reached out to me for this project, I did not hesitate and was delighted to come on board with them in a consulting capacity for this project,” stated the former captain of the French National football team.
Olivier Vecchierini, a renowned architect from Paris, will design the landscape and some interiors of the project. He is going to use his vast experience across various countries to ensure Kanakia Paris delivers a unique experience.
The Kanakia Group was formed in the year 1986 and has earned a distinct reputation as one of India's premium developers. It is rated as one of the top-ten real estate development brands in Mumbai.-TradeArabia News Service
