Tubli sewage plant capacity to be doubled

Tenders will be issued next month for a new BD95-million ($252.1 million) expansion to the Tubli sewage treatment plant in Bahrain that will double its daily capacity. Work on the project is scheduled to start later this year with funding secured from the $10-billion Gulf Development Fund, said Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Minister Essam Khalaf, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
