DUBAI, December 12, 2015

Saudi American Glass (SAG), a subsidiary of Dubai Investments and a leading processor of architectural high-performance flat glass in the Middle East, said it has completed projects worth over SR30 million ($8 million) across Saudi Arabia.

The projects executed include Amoudi Tower in Jeddah, Intelligence Department building in Downtown Jeddah, Al Othaim Mall and Waseel Hills Compound in Riyadh, besides Zinji Juffair Tower in Bahrain, said the company in a statement.

One of the largest Middle Eastern glass manufacturers, SAG has also completed the supply of gold-coated glass with an Islamic screen-printed design for the General Audit Bureau headquarters in Riyadh, besides providing its K-Lite high-performance glass for university projects in Dammam, Najran, Jizan, Madinah, Hail, Tabuk and Qassim.

The K-Lite glass offers high-strength resistance against stress and wind flex, and also offers protection in the case of breakage, it stated.

Over 60,000 sq m of SAG’s K-Lite high-performance glass in various colours are being used in these projects, the statement added.

Rizwanullah Khan, the executive president of SAG, pointed out that the company enjoys strategic leadership in architectural flat glass sector in Saudi Arabia and the impressive project portfolio on hand is a testimony of the company’s growing market domination, thanks to its reputation for quality glass products.

"The company is associated with iconic developments in Saudi Arabia, which is a key growth market," he added.

It has also won the contract to provide various types of glasses for KAP 3 Project – involving construction of security buildings across the kingdom for the Ministry of Interior, Movenpick Hotel in Riyadh, AKH Tower in Al Khobar, Dr Faqeeh Hospital in Riyadh and a new compound for Jaddoue Group in Riyadh.
