GulfBID 2016 to highlight infrastructure growth
MANAMA, October 13, 2015
GulfBID, an annual exhibition for construction and building materials in Bahrain, will take place against a backdrop of increasing investments in the kingdom's construction and infrastructure sector, said Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of organisers Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE).
The event will be held from April 26 to 28, 2016 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain.
The ninth edition of the popular exhibition for the construction sector in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, has the strategic sponsorship support of Haji Hassan and KMC Holdings, owner and manager of turnkey solution companies throughout the Middle East.
Bahrain-based Haji Hassan specialises in manufacturing building materials, precast concrete, readymix concrete, plastic and sewage pipes, construction chemicals, concrete blocks, steel reinforcement, rubbers and mechanical engineering spare parts, all of which are essential elements to the construction business.
Since 2007, gulfBID has strategically provided companies across the GCC access and exposure to Bahrain's sought-after construction industry. The event proved its increasing popularity regionally by attracting a number of companies from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
“Leading GCC companies involved in the construction sector such as Manar Al Omran, Al Rezayat Protective Coating, Gulf Scaffolding Company, Al Dweik Factory, Plastbau Arabia Company, and Bonar Natpet utilised the market opportunity made available at gulfBID 2015; we see in 2016 major opportunities for companies to increase their sales and market presence through gulfBID 2016,” said Abdulrahman.
GulfBID takes place alongside two other major exhibitions – Gulf Property Show and gulf Interiors – ensuring the continued success of the integrated business-to-business platforms for the construction, interior and property sectors in the Northern Gulf. – TradeArabia News Service
